.mp4 clip/movie file information

All video files detailed within this website are encoded using the .mp4 extension\container using compatible codecs.

We check all files play correctly using VLC Player and recommend this multimedia player for playback of our content.

As VLC Player is a trusted and well known piece of multi-platform software, we will not accept any problems playing the video files on other video or multimedia software.

Files are intended to be played back via a PC or Laptop but due to the vast compatibility that .mp4 offers we see no reason the files won't play back on other multimedia devices, phones, tablets and PCs.

Playback on regular TVs via a USB port has always varied greatly by manufacturer and it is your responsibility to ensure your TV is capable of playback.  It is important to note however that some of our special edition clips/movies will contain the choice to change the video track and the audio track but those options are quite poorly supported on TVs/projectors and so these more complex files are not recommended for TV playback.

If you are unsure if your device will play a specific clip, please contact us for a demo testcard clip encoded using our methods and we will send that over for you to test in advance.  If you are happy that the test clip works correctly on your individual playback technology - then an order can be placed if you wish.
